The Rotary Club Kifissia – Politeia, during a special event held on Wednesday, March 9th , 2016, presented to the Hon. Consul of Kenya, Mrs. Vicky Pantazopoulou, a laptop PC to be delivered to the Primary School of Alliance Vision Education Centre, a NGO.
The Primary and the Secondary Schools of this Centre are located in one of Nairobi’s slums and the NGO responsible to operate them makes every effort to find sponsorship and financial resources so as to ensure that young students, both boys and girls, have the opportunity for a better education, nutrition and, more generally, for better living standards.
Another laptop computer was presented, during the event, to the Headmistress of the 22nd Primary School of Athens, Mrs. Victoria Zolota. These two schools, the Greek one and the Kenyan one, having made a twinning agreement between them, will start communicating and co-operating thanks to their new PCs.
