From left to right, the Hon. Consul of Kenya in Greece, Mrs. V. Pantazopoulou, the Uasin Gishu County Governor, Hon. J. Mandago, Mr. M. Tanui and Mr. D. Letting.
During her stay in Kenya, the Hon. Consul of Kenya in Greece, Mrs. Vicky Pantazopoulou, visited Eldoret, the capital city of the Uasin Gishu County, which is considered to be the homeland of the Kenyan marathon runners.
The Consul met the County’s Governor, Hon. Jackson Mandago, to discuss with him issues regarding his second visit to Greece as well as several business projects with special economic –and not only- interest for the County. Emphasis was given to projects regarding the local establishment of a factory producing low-cost prefabricated houses.
Just a few hours before leaving Kenya for the Olympic Games of Rio, Mr. David Letting, the national coach for long distance runners, and Mr. Moses Tanui, a renowned marathoner, participated also at the meeting.
