Hon.Consul delivers Kenyan marathon winners artifacts to the Marathon Run Museum

On behalf of H.E. the Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya in Rome, Mrs. Josephine Gaita, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kenya in the Hellenic Republic, Mrs. Vicky Pantazopoulou, on 6th June 2014 visited the Marathon Run Museum and delivered items that belongs to Kenyan Marathon winners.
Mrs. Pantazopoulou was welcomed to the Museum by the mayor of Marathon Mr. Iordanis Louizos, who thanked the Hon. Consul for the offering and expressed the intention of the City of Marathon to officially invite Kenyan Marathon winners to visit the birthplace of the Marathon race.
The invitation will be sent by diplomatic means to the Ministry of Sports & Culture of the Republic of Kenya.
